Patrick Simonson in experienced corporate administrator in both the for profit and nonprofit sectors. He served on the administration of National Rehab Hospital in Washington, DC. During his watch this top ranked provider evolved from a facility under construction to a prosperous 160-bed special care center. He developed marketing plans, was the primary staff resource for the CEO, COO and Medical Director, was responsible for all administrative services and worked closely with the for profit Rehab Services Corp. Through the use of well-defined communication, facilitation, team building and consultative skills he created and implemented numerous business plans and managed referral sources. While at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, he coordinated the preparation and execution of all plans to strengthen maternal/child health services, initiated a cardiac surgery service and revised select processes in emergency & surgical services. A profitable case mix was captured for each venture; close working relationships with physicians and the community were successfully established and maintained. Patrick’s current role includes, but is not limited to, working with clients to improve financial and operational performance using proven, sustainable methodologies and process analysis techniques. This involves evaluating and creating plans, recommending personnel changes, assisting with market research, facilitating change, providing benchmarks, executive coaching as well as project management skills and resources. Mr. Simonson received an MHSA, with honors, from George Washington University’s Department of Health Services Management and Policy; a B.S, with honors along with certification in Human Resource Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvaia.
