Patricia King, J.D., M.B.A.

Ms. King has over 20 years of healthcare legal experience, primarily in a hospital or health system environment. Most recently, she was General Counsel to an integrated delivery system (which included a large community teaching hospital, large multi-specialty physician group, insurance company and home health agency). She also has extensive experience as in-house counsel for a large urban academic medical center, and was in private practice with a major health law firm which specialized in reimbursement. Ms. King is a generalist in the healthcare legal field, with broad experience touching almost every aspect of the highly regulated health care industry. Her special areas of interest include hospital-physician relationships, physician employment and medical staff issues, employment issues, managed care (from both the provider and payor perspectives), and health care finance. She received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
