Trelisha M. Brown, M.S., J.D.

Ms. Brown is an attorney with over 13 years of experience in providing and managing legal functions for both public and private entities such as West Suburban Hospital Medical Center, an integrated services medical facility, and Sears, a Fortune 500 company. Her legal career began as a Legal Researcher with the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois in 1989. She eventually became the Director of Corporate Legal Services at West Suburban Health Care in 2001. In her capacity as Director, she rendered legal support to the administration and staff of West Suburban. She also served as the Corporate Compliance Officer during this period. Ms. Brown does volunteer legal work for several organizations and serves on various boards, including Neighborhood Housing Services. She created a teen court model for the Chicago Police Department. She tutors at the John Marshall Law School. Ms. Brown received her B.A. from the University of Illinois, Champaign; an M.S. in Public Administration, concentration in Health Law and Administration from DePaul University, Chicago and a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago. She is currently an L.L.M. candidate at the John Marshall Law School.
