2007 was certainly a busy year at the Kalish Law Office. We have plenty of news to share and hope that this year has been as exciting for all of you as it has for us.

New Building!
We purchased our own building on Oak Ridge Drive. Oak Ridge Drive is a beautiful area that used to be a residential street, but is now a mixed business and residential area. We have a wonderful building, perfect for the firm.
For those of you who haven’t been to our new office yet, or don’t know where we are located, Oak Ridge Drive is on The Woodlands side of the freeway, and runs parallel to I-45. I have gotten to know most of our business neighbors and am thoroughly enjoying learning more about their businesses and what they do. There is such a variety of businesses here on this street, it is a business district in and of itself. |

New Practice Areas!
Some of you may not know that we are now practicing family-based immigration. This is a complimentary area to the foreign adoption in which Laura has been involved for approximately 14 years. We are still representing clients in the state courts for the reaffirmation and re-adoption, and are now able to do the immigration filing for adjustment or certificate of citizenship as well. |

Articles and Seminars!
Laura is now writing a regular article, for the TCC Review, the magazine of her alma mater, Texas Chiropractic College. This article features different legal issues such as employment issues, will and estate planning, and other issues of interest to chiropractors.
We are planning community seminars in 2008 regarding wills and estate planning. Please contact us if you would be interested in us presenting a no-cost seminar to your group or would like to attend a seminar at our office. |
