The Kalish Law Firm was established in The Woodlands, Texas in 1984. Woodlands family law attorneys Bob Kalish, Laura Kalish and Sio Ramirez take pride in their work and are dedicated to listening, advising and making the legal process as understandable as possible for their clients. The attorneys and support staff believe in treating clients the way that they would want to be treated.
Bob Kalish practices primarily in the areas of family law, including divorce, custody and child support and prepares premarital agreements and post-marital agreements. He also practices real estate and business law, including preparation of deeds, closings and buy-sell agreements for restaurants and other businesses, estate planning, wills, probate, trusts, living wills and general powers of attorney.
Laura Kalish accepts cases in the areas of adoption, including foreign adoption, domestic adoption and step-parent adoption. She also practices family based immigration and prepares cases seeking a special immigrant translators visa, and prepares filings of foreign wills.
Siomara ("Sio") Ramirez is an experienced litigator who has over six years of practice in the areas of family law, family based immigration, business formation, wills and trusts, international adoptions and general liability defense. She has handled complex litigation to trial and has a tremendous amount of experience in negotiating good and fair settlements for her clients.
For many years, our Woodlands family law attorneys have represented clients who have come to us with issues pertaining to divorce, child support, modification, and custody. Being involved in this type of situation is always stressful for a client, and we do our best to make the process as understandable and practical as possible, while acknowledging the emotional issues as well. The attorneys at Kalish Law Office also prepare prenuptial agreements, for those clients in need of such services.
